For several years, the HDVS-200 Series has been among our best-selling AV integration products. Today, it continues to be very popular with our customers.
This product family provides a compact yet complete AV system solution for meeting spaces, classrooms, and other environments. An HDVS-200 system includes the AT-HDVS-200-TX HDBaseT transmitter for HDMI and VGA. (The HDVS-200-TX is available in a standard box or wallplate enclosure.)
Despite the predominance of the HDMI®, DisplayPort®, and USB-C® video formats, we continue to hear end users needing to maintain support for legacy VGA sources. For this reason, our HDVS-200 transmitters continue to be in demand for having a VGA input alongside HDMI.
Omega Series replaces the HDVS-200-RX
The HDVS-200-RX has long been the companion receiver to the HDVS-200 transmitters. However, it is now discontinued.
The good news is that we have a great replacement product for the HDVS-200-RX – the Omega™ Series AT-OME-RX21 receiver.
The OME-RX21 brings all the essential features of the HDVS-200-RX plus several enhanced capabilities:
- Compatibility with 4K/UHD @ 60 Hz 4:2:0 or 30 Hz 4:4:4
- Local 4K/60 4:4:4 HDMI input for an extra AV source such as a media player, or the new AT-WAVE-101 Wireless Presentation Platform
- 4K upscaling and downscaling
- Video processing features such as aspect ratio control and motion-adaptive 1080i deinterlacing
As with the HDVS-200-RX, the OME-RX21 includes stereo audio de-embedding for direct interfacing with an amplifier and speakers.
The OME-RX21 isn’t just for new HDVS-200 system purchases, however. It’s great for updating your existing installations with 4K/UHD compatibility and integrating the latest sources and displays.
HDVS-200 systems deliver the following essential features that enable built-in system automation and ease-of-use for any presenter:
- Automatic HDMI and VGA input switching
- HD scaling at the receiver
- Automatically powers a display upon laptop connection or disconnection
- Contact closure control for room devices such as motorized projection screens

In addition to the OME-RX21, we’re pleased to offer the AT-OME-RX31, with an additional HDBaseT input.
The OME-RX31 provides some interesting options for repurposing HDVS-200-TX switchers into new system designs with AV input access at two remote locations. Below is one example illustrating a large conference table.
The OME-RX31 lets you bring in two HDVS-200-TX units, or combine with one of our newer switching transmitters such as the AT-OME-ST31A, with USB-C and HDMI inputs.
