Quality Engineer

Job Description:
Software Quality Assurance Engineer analyzes, and runs tests on new or modified software and firmware programs, including documentation, diagram and flowchart, and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. This role designs, develops, and executes functional test cases using our Zephyr Scale test case management system. Additionally, this role runs in-depth testing, detects problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in complex design reviews of Product Requirements Documents (PRDs, which are specifications) by developing test plans and test cases, executing test cases, and identifying/ analyzing defects, questionable functions, errors and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens and content for Atlona products.
- Understands complex software designs and tests software programs to ensure they meet complex design specifications. This includes reviewing computer logs and reports, and validating system and data files.
- Documents, tracks and communicates software test plans, test results, analyses and unresolved problems.

- Coordinates test activities including the use of resources outside of QA department.
- Assist with training among Test Engineers and employees in other Atlona departments.
- Contributes to establishing department processes, standards, procedures and practices.

Network Engineer

Job Description:
Network Engineer analyzes malfunctions with commercial audio/video products from a networking perspective, performs troubleshooting, and provides advice on related bug fixes. Secondary priority will be to perform testing of audio/video products. This will involve Atlona providing training/certifications in both commercial A/V products and Software Quality Assurance.

Technical Support Engineer 1

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to support Atlona’s numerous audio/video products
- Logs all customer technical support issues clearly into Zendesk ticketing system
- Address information requests with help center articles and Atlona resources
- Engage Tier 2 Engineer on issues not found in Atlona Help Center
- Escalate issues beyond basic extender troubleshooting–RMA/AR to Tier 2
- Triage support requests, set customer expectations, and queue tickets
- Assist Tier 2 and/or RMA team in processing RMA/AR for customers
- Might be required to be on rotational basis for weekend coverage
Requirements:

Training Specialist – Sales Engineer

Job Description:
Atlona is seeking an experienced Trainer and Sale Engineer with a strong knowledge of professional audio-visual technology, control systems, training and troubleshooting best practices. The Trainer is responsible for delivering product and technology training programs to our partners, and customers. The Sales Engineer is responsible for helping with design, installation, troubleshooting, and proof of concept to our partners, and customers.
Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, EMEA, you will enjoy working at our new Frankfurt, Germany facility with its open floor plan, abundant parking and easy access to public transportation. Your mission as a Training Specialist and Sales Engineer will be to delight our customers with your amazing service and your knowledge of our products and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to speak in front of live audiences, on webinars and other live forums Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Provide technical education on Atlona products and technology for all EMEA partners and customers through live, hands-on training and instructor-led remote sessions.
- Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
- Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into customers projects.
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
- Support partners and dealers in development of Atlona AV and AV over IP Systems, design and documentation.
