Technical Support Engineer I

Full responsibility for the following functional areas:

  • Communicate with customers to support Atlona’s numerous audio/video products
  • Logs all customer technical support issues clearly into Zendesk ticketing system
  • Address information requests with help center articles and Atlona resources
  • Engage Tier 2 Engineer on issues not found in Atlona Help Center
  • Escalate issues beyond basic extender troubleshooting–RMA/AR to Tier 2
  • Triage support requests, set customer expectations, and queue tickets
  • Assist Tier 2 and/or RMA team in processing RMA/AR for customers
  • Might be required to be on rotational basis for weekend coverage

Education and Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year as an AV installer or technical support agent
  • Knowledge of HDMI, EDID, RS232, IR, cabling (TP, UTP), and IP
  • Certified CTS General or other – preferred (not required)
  • Experience with support ticketing system or CRM

Regional Sales Manager, Canada (Commercial and Residential)

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Reporting to the Director of Sales for North America, you will work from your home office, with travel as needed, serving as the primary business contact and satisfaction-provider for our clients. The RSM will consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as communicate client needs and goals to the company, in order to ensure the highest level of customer care. You will own both the strategy for sales and the tactical growth of revenue in your assigned territory, and will develop and expand regional sales operations, including planning, forecasting and executing all sales activities. You will take ownership for achieving assigned sales quotas together with customer goals, developing business and proposals for presentation to customers, and coordinating account resources with representatives from marketing, pre- and post-sales engineering, and development. The RSM will have and build relationships in the industry, to include: End-users in corporate, education and government sectors; consultants who specify products into design and applications of commercial Audio Video; industry affiliations; key system integrators; and complimentary manufacturers. Responsibilities for this high profile, individual contributor role include:

  • Experienced as a trainer, with the ability to teach and motivate large groups or in one-on-one presentations.
  • BA/BS in marketing or business management, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management and Customer Service.
  • Excellent communicator capable of building relationships and communicating effectively with every level in the organization through outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time.

Regional Sales Manager, Canada (Commercial and Residential)

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Builds, maintains, supports and develops the relationships with Distribution Partners, Consultants and our dealer base across the DACH Region (Germany south & Austria)

Serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for continued growth in the region and is responsible for both the strategy and the development of sales in the assigned territory.

Particular care and attention needs to be dedicated to the relationship with the channel (distributors, resellers, system integrators) which act on Panduit Atlona’s behalf and promote Panduit Atlona in their respective markets. The Sales Manager will be responsible to support and grow these partnerships and find new partners where appropriate.

  • Manages all client communication, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.

  • Creates new Business Development opportunities for the territory and identifies and opens new partnerships.

  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, with support where required.

  • Achieves quarterly sales quota and accurate forecasting for the territory and account base.

  • Owns the contract and contract renewals for new and existing clients.

  • Approves Change Orders and invoices and is responsible to facilitate in payment collection process.

  • Educates customers and partners on technology, products, company policies and processes.

  • Maintains a continuous knowledge of customer needs in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities.

  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed and profitability requirements are met.

  • Pursues opportunities for account growth and new business.

  • Communicates the client’s goals and represents the client’s interests to the company.

  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and company, to provide strong company representation and set proper client expectations.

  • Understands company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.

  • Provides regular input on all account activity, including status, call reports and opportunities report on a weekly basis.
