4K/UHD 6-Input Multi-Format Switcher with HDBaseT Inputs, Mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT Outputs, and Auto Switching

4K/UHD 6-Input Multi-Format Switcher

The Atlona AT-UHD-CLSO-612 is an advanced six-input, multi-format switcher with built-in 4K scaling and mirrored HDBaseT™ and HDMI outputs. It simplifies classroom and small office system integration by providing two HDBaseT inputs, two HDMI inputs, and two multi-function analog inputs. Professional audio features such as a microphone input with 48 volt phantom power and ducking are also included, allowing the switcher to address a wide array of AV switching and processing needs often encountered in classrooms, conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, and other presentation settings.

Configured and Managed by AMS

The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 also supports the Atlona Management System (AMS), a powerful network software platform that integrates product configuration, management and updating. Specially designed for IP-controllable Atlona Products, the Atlona Management System reduces installation time and enables remote monitoring and support. To learn more please visit AT-SW-AMS.

Features

Two HDBaseT inputs

  • Works with Atlona HDTX and HDVS series transmitters for placement at remote sources near lecterns, conference tables, and instructor’s desks up to 230 feet (70 meters) from the switcher
  • Simplifies integration of remote sources by eliminating power supplies when used with PoCc-powered transmitters; single category cable carries AV signals, control and power

Two HDMI inputs

  • Digital inputs to support two DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort Sources
  • Works with PCs, Blu-ray players, document cameras, teleconference systems, wireless solutions with industry standard digital audio/video outputs

Two multi-function analog inputs on 15-pin HD connectors

  • Accepts RGBHV, component, S-video, or composite signals using common adaptors and break out cables
  • Provides input options for legacy analog sources

Mirrored, dual outputs on HDBaseT and HDMI

  • Supports dual display applications with both local and extended distance displays up to 230 feet (70 meters); designed to work directly with HDBaseT-capable displays and Atlona HDRX-RSNET series receivers
  • Eliminates cost associated with extra distribution and extension components; simplifies installation.  HDMI output allows additional HDBaseT transmitter for dual long distance applications.

4K/UHD @ 30 Hz capability

  • Compatible with Ultra High Definition sources and displays
  • Supports high resolution applications such as CAD, desktop publishing, and detailed financial reporting

Built-in 4K scaler

  • Scales to and from most resolutions up to 4K to optimize content from any source to any monitor or projector up to 4K; Down-scaling allows 4K sources to be displayed at 1080p or less
  • Eliminates the need for external scaling components

AV and control over HDBaseT

  • Delivers 4K/UHD video, audio, and control through a single cable
  • Eliminates multiple cable runs between source, control system, and display

Power over category cable for remote-powered HDBaseT receiver

  • Provides remote power to Atlona HDTX, HDRX, and HDVS series of transmitters and receivers over the same category cable used for AV and control signals
  • Eliminates local AC outlet required for extender device, cleans up the installation behind displays, plus saves time and integration costs

Auto-switching

  • Selects last connected HDMI or VGA source
  • Reduces complexity or eliminates control system completely

TCP/IP, RS-232, and IR control

  • Compatibility with third-party control systems provides flexible control options
  • Reduces integration time and costs

EDID management

  • Manages EDID communications between source and switcher; allows integrators to force sources to preferred resolution
  • Ensures desired audio formats and video resolutions are provided to the AV system; eliminates the need for EDID management device

HDCP management

  • Allows non-protected material from PCs to pass to non-compliant displays and teleconference systems while protected content is not transmitted
  • HDCP compliance can be switched on/off from control systems for use with non-compliant displays, streaming devices, and codecs

Balanced line/mic input with 48V phantom power

  • Provides professional audio input for wired and wireless microphones
  • Saves installation costs by eliminating external audio mixer

Microphone ducking with advanced controls

The Switcher for Classrooms and Small Offices

The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 eliminates the need for multiple components and simplifies the important steps in getting content from any source to whatever display and audio system the customer is using, including 4K monitors or projectors.  The switcher addresses customers’ needs to provide inputs on lecterns, conference tables, and locations distant from the switcher.  The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 utilizes Atlona’s exclusive Power over Category Cable (PoCc) technology to power remote HDBaseT transmitters and receivers.  Combining multiple components to address each process – scaling, converting, and delivering the signal to the display – into a single solution reduces system complexity and cost and increases reliability.

The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 is ideal for use in classrooms, training environments, large huddle spaces, and small meeting room applications where system requirements include:

  • A variety of analog and digital sources located at a distance from the central equipment rack and near the switcher
  • A confidence monitor for the main presentation
  • Long distance signal transmission to a projector or other display
  • 4K/UHD up- or down-scaling
