Video Conferencing Solution

Challenge

The team isn’t always in one room. Soft codecs such as Skype, GoToMeeting, and others have made the whole world flat. AV equipment to support switching and extension for both HDMI and USB has been complicated. Also some conference systems have dedicated PCs at the table while others have dedicated PCs at the screen.

Solution

Atlona’s HDVS-300 is a transmitter / receiver with switching for HDMI and USB. Put a USB webcam at the screen, a USB mic at the table. Design options include placing a user's conferencing PC at the table, or a dedicated PC located at the screen or the table. Inputs are provided for users who bring PCs with HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA outputs.
